Scheduled Maintenance on Raw Water Pipeline

The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise its customers in the north of the island that the service interruption initially scheduled for Wednesday March 5, 2025, has had to be advanced to Thursday February 27, 2025. The decision to expedite the repairs stems from the severe damage to the pipeline, which is causing ongoing water loss, negatively impacting the water pressure available to consumers in the North. This temporary service interruption is essential to ensuring an improvement in the consistency of supply on our network. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this will cause and encourage consumers to increase their water storage where possible. The water supply will be restored within 48 hours. However, customers at higher elevations and areas farthest from the system will experience additional delays as the system stabilizes.
